The first few days in Aiden’s mansion felt like stepping into a dream, or perhaps a very expensive, slightly overwhelming fantasy. I woke up each morning in the luxurious guest suite with its silk sheets and breathtaking hillside view, still pinching myself that this was real.
My salary alone was life changing.
Before Aiden, my work life had been terrible. After high school with no money to further my education, I started working three shifts in that over demanding restaurant.
