Maybe I should have called Julian, or security, or any of the other numerous people who would have been interested to know that there was a suspicious person trying to enter a patient’s room, but in the moment, I didn’t really think about anything other than catching this person and stopping them before they could do even more harm to Julian’s mom.
So I ran out of my office and the backrooms, and rushed straight into Gloria’s room. There, I found Healer Kevin peering over Gloria. He wasn’t holding a clipboard or looking at her file or anything, though he was still wearing his hospital scrubs.
