“Wake up, prisoner!” The guard shouted as he banged on Winona’s cell. Winona’s eyes opened as she looked up. The injuries she sustained from her torture were infected, and her body was weak from the loss of blood and lack of nourishment. When she looked up, she saw a tall figure standing at the door of her cell.
“Who…”
“You wanted to see me?” The familiar voice asked.
“Eddie?!” Winona cried as she pushed herself to stand. “You came? I knew you would.”
“What do you want?”
“Eddie, please, only you can set me free. Stop acting like you don’t care about me.”
“I’m not acting. I don’t give a rat’s a*s about you. I came because I was told this was your final request. If you’re going to waste my time, then I’m leaving,” Eddie spat and turned to leave.
