When the helicopter landed at the royal castle, Lora and Azriel were warmly received by Markus and Kaia. The four of them shared a heartfelt embrace, the relief and camaraderie evident in their gestures. “Welcome,” Markus said with a smile. “We’re so glad you’re here.”
Kaia added, “We’ve prepared a room for you to refresh and rest. If you feel up to it, you can join us for dinner with everyone else. If not, don’t hesitate to ask for room service.”
“Thank you for the ride,” Azriel smiled in Markus' direction with a smile.
Lora and Azriel thanked them and were led to their room. After a rejuvenating shower and a change of clothes, Azriel turned to Lora. “What do you want to do, my dove? Should we rest here, or join them for dinner? It is totally up to you and how you are feeling.”
