Kaia tried to move, dragging herself toward the door, but Queen Tonya kicked her hard in the abdomen, sending her sprawling back. The pain was searing, but Kaia fought to stay conscious, her mind racing. The Queen lunged at her, and they began to struggle for the dagger. The fight was intense, filled with raw desperation on both sides. Kaia's grip was ironclad, but as another wave of pain wracked her body, the Queen managed to snatch the dagger from her.
"You damn Storms! You just don’t want to die! Just like your entire family! You are like cockroaches, surviving and surviving," Queen Tonya spat, her voice dripping with venom. "All of you believe that you are high and mighty with your wealth and family name. You are nothing. You all deserve to die."
