The library smelled like old moldy books, dust and lukewarm coffee.
It was also busy at this time of the afternoon as a result of the exams coming next week. Students were hunched over books and laptops, doing some last minute revisions.
Overall it was going exactly how I liked. The quiet and orderliness.
But it didn't last long, Jax Moreau and Ryan Kane had to ruin it.
They pushed open the library door as if they owned it. Both of them six foot five, shoulders as wide as a board, hockey bags on their muscled shoulders.
Those grey sweatpants doing nothing to hide their swinging appendages.
I straightened my cardigan, arranged my desk and prepped my hair.
