DONOVAN’S POV:
I drove back home with the scent of Amanda still clinging to my skin, feeling like a man who finally had a purpose. But the second I pulled into the driveway, the mood shifted. I parked my car, stepped out and headed to the mansion. I looked up and saw Beta Caleb standing on the upper balcony, leaning over the railing and glaring down at me like he wanted to set me on fire.
