“It’ll be sad to see you go,” a voice says. The mocking tone isn’t lost on me, but I try not to let it bother me. Footsteps continue toward me. I ignore them, imagining the smirk the smirk on Camila’s face as she stops at my side.
“It’s perfect timing, too,” she mocks, brushing her perfectly styled hair over her shoulder. “Alexander will finally be able to focus on what’s important.”
