"No way," I said, forcing my chin up defiantly. "I'm not pregnant."   Keal, my wolf, whined anxiously inside me. "We're busted. "   I'd never win a poker game in my life, and here I was trying to bluff an Alpha.   Alpha Enzo didn't even blink.   Just stared at me with those calculating eyes that seemed to catalog every micro-expression crossing my face.   The silence stretched between us until I could hear my own heartbeat drumming in my ears.   Finally, he turned away and moved to the coffee machine that had been quietly brewing.   The rich, bitter scent filled the air, making my already queasy stomach do backflips.
