The ceremony grounds that had been packed with hundreds of pack members just minutes ago now looked like a ghost town.
Only a few wolves from the Amber Pack and Blackwood Pack stayed behind, along with cleanup crews taking apart what was left of the ruined mating ceremony.
Selina's eyes were red and puffy, her voice shaking. "Zack, why did the ceremony have to stop? Don't you want me as your Luna anymore?"
Alpha Zack rubbed his temples. He looked completely drained. "Selina, Alpha Enzo, we need to figure out this video situation before we do anything else."
He didn't say he believed her. But he didn't say he didn't believe her either.
Alpha Zack was smart enough to see the big picture. His future Luna couldn't be known as a bully.
