That afternoon, Elara received a call from Alpha Hunter.
"Hello, Hunter." Elara always felt nervous around Alpha Hunter, worried their fake marriage might be exposed.
"Elara, my grandson is threatening to run away from home. I was thinking since Orion seems to connect with you, would you mind having him stay at your place for a few days?"
Elara was momentarily surprised, then smiled. "Of course. He's welcome to stay for a few days, though our housekeeper might struggle with the extra work. Maybe we could bring along his usual caretaker too?"
"Great idea. Let him stay for a week, then his father can come get him."
Elara offered to pick the boy up herself, but Alpha Hunter refused.
"I'll bring him over personally."
