Rick and Cary are walking on the balcony overlooking the backyard. Cary is still processing that Sabre Fur Prowlers are being protected by magic. He knew magic existed, but this was his first time witnessing it firsthand. His mother would tell him stories about witches and their magic. He has been asking Rick questions about Taylor. Finally, Rick is tired of it and tells him he has never met her, has no plan for meeting Taylor, and to change the damn subject.
