We then spent the next little while helping Storm and his team once they got down here. They would check the women and kids out, and after they gave the all clear, we'd take them out to the yacht and put them in the rooms. We had a few female nurses that was still on the yachts to help the girls get showers and settled into bed.
After we had them all loaded up and started back to New Zealand, they would get soup, jello, and stuff like that to eat. It would take a while before they would be able to eat real food. The motion of the yacht on the water wouldn't help them much right now. But it was the best that we could do.
