We were in the middle of going through the books and s**t when I got the call that the Senator and his people were here. They had pulled up to the front gate, so I sent my dad to let Storm know, and I'd go and get Midnight and Pixie. As we stepped out of the church room, I looked toward the main room, and they were already in there.
Pixie was on the couch between her dad, who was holding Ethan, and Midnight, and she was eating. Across from her, her mom was sitting with her aunt, holding her and talking to her. It looked like they had been having a very serious conversation. And as I looked around the room, I noticed that one of my brothers was keeping a very close watch on Lily. Hmm, thats interesting. Very interesting. It sure does explain why he's always been single.
