I forced another bite into my mouth before answering.
“Yeah,” I said quietly. “The view was amazing.”
“Did you take pictures?” Hayes asked.
I nodded immediately and picked up my phone.
My gallery opened instantly.
For one second, my thumb hovered over the pictures from that night.
Then I selected the first one quickly before passing the phone over.
Hayes took it first.
Ford leaned closer immediately. “Damn…”
“It’s really beautiful,” he murmured. “Look at the city lights.”
“I want to see too,” Pierce complained dramatically.
“The phone would get to you,” Hayes said flatly. “Stop behaving like Leo.”
“Me?” Leo repeated immediately with food in his mouth.
“You’re better than him, big man,” Hayes said seriously.
