Massimo hadn't gotten much sleep last night. He and Elena hadn't arrived at the Ferraro estate until late, and Massimo was keenly aware of the amount of work that would be waiting for him in the morning. Not to mention Massimo had invited Elena to borrow one of his guest rooms.
The last time Elena had been over so late was after Tyler's break-in. Massimo vividly remembers almost kissing Elena—had they not been interrupted, they surely would've kissed.
