Elena ran down the staircase and out the Ferraro estate as fast as she could. She nearly collided with some servants and other workers in a hurry.
But there was no time to apologize or explain. She had to catch the man who was spying on the Ferraro estate.
Elena burst out of the main doors and looked to where the white van was parked. The man had disappeared, but Elena figured he was probably inside the vehicle now.
Elena ran towards the white van.
In the same moment, the van's engine roared. The van drove away before Elena could even cross the street.
Massimo was waiting outside his estate.
"Care to explain?" he said, none too warmly.
Elena pointed in the direction the white van had gone.
"I saw a guy staring at the house. He had headphones on, so he might have been listening in
