Andromeda and Alaric didn't return home with Lana, Hercukes, Niam, and Taj. Alaric told them he and Andromeda would be home later; they had some grown people business to attend to, and they left.
On the way to the pack, it was quiet. Taj and Niam would glance at Lana. They're wondering if they heard the vampire right. Niam thought about asking Alaric but didn't want to disturb him and Andromeda. He knew Alaric wouldn't be happy if he contacted him, and it's not an emergency. Allaric had told him and Taj earlier that his mate wasn't happy about being interrupted this morning, so he had to make it up to her.
Hercules knew they had heard the vampire, and there would be some questions. He doesn't know when, but he knows it's coming.
