He stood in the middle of the sitting room, the DNA report in his grip, staring at the bottom line as if staring long enough might change what was printed there. His sons had both been born in this city, in this hospital, and he had been there for both of them. He had seen their first breaths. But Sienna had arrived while he was traveling abroad, and he had never once questioned it. Never once thought to question it.
He hadn't questioned his wife. He hadn't questioned the nanny.
He had never questioned anything.
The report included an audio file. His thumb hovered over the link for a long moment before he pressed it.
