"Ms. Caldwell." He moved sideways, positioning himself between her and the elevator. "What are you doing here?"
Aurora looked at him. She didn't lower her voice.
"I'm here to discuss the divorce settlement with my ex-husband," she said. "The CEO of this company. The property division ruling came through today."
The words landed in the lobby like a dropped tray. Around them, the cluster of employees waiting for the next elevator went very still. Then the whispers started - low at first, then louder. She heard fragments. *He's married? Was married? I thought he and Sienna were -*
Ethan's jaw tightened. He already had his phone out. "Give me a moment."
"Take your time," Aurora said pleasantly.
He turned away and spoke in a low, rapid voice. She didn't try to listen.
