When Aurora arrived at Everett Bio-Tech, the results of the internal investigation had already been announced. Simon Zayne was immediately terminated, and HR sent a company-wide email severely condemning his behavior. This meant Simon had been blacklisted in the industry, making it nearly impossible for him to find work in the biotech field in the future.
Phineas had shown no mercy. He had directly destroyed Simon's career prospects while simultaneously sending a powerful deterrent message to everyone else in the R&D department.
The lab was a place that couldn't tolerate even the slightest error. It required absolute seriousness. Framing colleagues for personal gain would never be permitted. If they showed leniency to Simon this time, future management would be impossible
