The evening air in the garden was crisp. Mrs. Walsh linked her arm through Aurora's.
"How is the divorce proceeding?" she asked gently.
Aurora sighed. "It's moving forward."
"And the child?" Mrs. Walsh asked, her voice dropping. "Custody battles can be brutal. Usually, a mother has to trade a lot of financial assets to keep the child."
