(Aurora's POV)
Leo's follow-up results came back clean.
The doctor confirmed it while flipping through the charts - full recovery, no complications, no restrictions beyond avoiding high-intensity physical activity for the next few months. Leo sat on the exam table with his hands in his lap and didn't react much, but I could see the tension leave his shoulders.
I thanked the doctor and steered Leo out of the hospital.
"Okay," I said, once we were outside. "Let's talk about school."
Leo fell into step beside me. "I figured that was coming."
"Public high schools are basically off the table. The enrollment windows have closed and the waitlists are long. That leaves private schools." I'd done the research already. "I've narrowed it down to three. All solid academically, reasonable tuition
