Genevieve: It was crazy how the wolves stood obediently with Alpha I-Oh around them. It was as if he had cracked the code to make them follow his orders, and that was the craziest part of the whole situation. I sat down and placed Wolvin’s head in my lap. He seemed to be sleeping, but his body kept flinching. His lips had turned purple, and his face was devoid of any color except blue. “Let him live,” I requested, raising my head to Alpha I-Oh, who was walking around us like a predator the whole time. “Why would I?” he shrugged. “Because—he came here because of me,” I explained, sounding like a fool. Of course, Alpha I-oh wouldn’t care. He was a heartless man who only wanted his name to be out there, whether in good remembrance or bad. “Umm, but what about the stuff he stole from me?”
