“Good morning ma, how are you doing?” I asked my mum. It was my tradition to call her every morning. We had successfully found the witch Malley witch who reversed the spell but she claimed she wasn’t ready to return to Hawkins.
“I’m fine, how are you and how’s everything going there?” She asked softly.
I inhaled deeply, my breath turning into a long sigh. “Everything is fine for now.”
“And Noah?” I knew she was going to mention Noah’s name. I had told her about how I had f****d up and she never failed to ask me if I had amended my relationship with Noah.
“We’re getting there, she isn’t as cold towards me as she was before.”
“That’s good. Stay safe my son.”
“I will. Thanks, ma. I love you.”
