“You fou…found? What?” I asked him, my voice trembling. I started breathing heavily and could feel my chest tightening. Aiden was finally going to leave me.
“Calm down, Noah.” He said it was that easy to be calm after what he had just told me.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm down my nerves. “Okay, but you’ve rejected her, right?” I asked in between hitched breaths, hoping he was going to say yes.
