My phone beeped with a text, breaking the uncomfortable silence in the room. I checked to see it was a text from Dimitri.
[I’m out front, where are you guys?]
It didn’t take up to a minute after my response before someone came knocking on the door. “It’s Dimitri,” I informed Sarah who was hesitant to open the door.
“Oh, Sarah is here,” Dimitri said, glancing over the room as he walked inside. “Hi, Sarah.” He greeted her and moved straight to the clueless boy who just sat in a corner of the room.
