Macey When I arrived home, I noticed Mikey’s truck parked outside. A flood of emotions washed over me—relief mingled with anger. I parked my car and climbed out. As I looked around, I saw Mikey stepping out of his truck. I walked over to him. We didn’t say anything, but the hurt on his face was enough to unleash my emotions. I collapsed into his arms, and he wrapped me tightly in a comforting embrace as my tears flowed freely. “It’s okay,” Mikey said softly.
