Macey I’m not sure how long I had been asleep, but when I woke up, the nausea was back. My therapist had prescribed medication for me a while ago to take when I felt extremely anxious. I don’t take it all the time; in fact, I hadn’t needed it in years. But after my father left, I started feeling nauseous again. That’s my first indication that I’m extremely stressed out. I tend to make myself sick. I get nauseous, then start dry heaving until I throw up. My therapist has explained that I internalize everything, and it’s just not healthy.
