Mikey Something cold and wet bumped against my hand. I frowned, still half asleep, pulling the blanket a little higher before it happened again. This time I cracked open one eye. Rocky stood beside the bed, staring at me like his entire morning depended on whether I got the message. His tail gave one hopeful thump. I glanced across the bed. Macey was still sound asleep, curled onto her side with one hand tucked beneath her cheek. Her blonde hair was a complete mess, and sometime during the night she’d stolen nearly all the blanket.
