I was surprised that Mikey booked us this hotel. As we walked into the lobby, holding hands, my curiosity got the better of me.
“Why this hotel?” I asked him.
“Because the Motel 6 didn’t seem like it would be romantic,” Mikey chuckled.
I slapped his arm. “I’m serious. This hotel is expensive, Mikey,” I told him.
Mikey stopped walking and turned to face me. “Mace, let me spoil you. I want to spoil you, okay?” he said.
Warmth started to envelop me. No one had ever said something like that to me. I smiled at him and nodded.
Mikey bent down and gave me a small peck on the lips. “Good, the elevator to our room is this way,” he said.
"You already checked in?"
“You already have the room and key?” I asked him.
“Yeah, technically the room is registered under Andy. So if you want to
