Raven’s POV
Without warning, my body shifted back into my human state, and as my actual human legs began to give out on me, Cash caught me in just the nick of time.
“Easy now.” Slipped worriedly from his lips, as he lifted my feet right off the floor, carrying my beyond exhausted body to the bed, as I tried to protest with him that we needed to search the grounds at once.
Not listening to me, Cash lowered me to the bed, pulling a blanket up over my naked body, shielding it from Jacob’s eyes, while he said to me, “You need to rest. Your body has gone through a great deal with your first shift.”
