Raven’s POV
“Liam!” I screamed, as my hand moved to reach for him, but Chase’s grip tightened around my waist, drawing my body back to the floor.
Tears now flowed freely down my cheeks, as I watched in complete horror the darkness manifesting before my eyes, knowing that it had grown stronger because of me. I should have known that wherever evil lives no good should come from it, but of course, it was another lesson that I had to learn the hard way.
By allowing the darkness to come forth, I had opened a can of worms that never should have been opened, leaving me now to see the damage I had caused, but there was one good thing that had come from it. I now knew that it was a damn parasite, living off those that it had been cursed to, leaving me to believe that it could be reversed.
