“Well, doesn’t this change everything.” Lexi sarcastically said, as she moved to my side, staring straight at the fight that was about to go down.
“What are the freaking chances of this?” She then added, as I realized that it was slim to none that he of all people would show up right now at this very second, especially when I was just about to give in to Lexi and listen to her voice of reasoning.
Seeing his wolf standing right in front of the flame was quite mesmerizing, especially with the tips of his fur looking as if they were directly on fire. It had me truly believing that maybe this was destiny telling me to stay and fight, as his wolf looked as if he was here to end a longtime score that sent him into hiding all those years ago.
