Chase’s POV
My wolf landed with an earth-shaking thud, on all four of his paws, less than ten yards in front of the rogue, before he narrowed his eyes, and let out one hell of a possessive growl, stopping the rogue straight in his goddamn tracks. The rogue’s eyes instantly widened, as pure fear oozed from his aura, while I watched his stupid ass take a step back.
If he feared what stood in front of him now, then I couldn’t even imagine what his aura would release when he came face to face with Chance’s wolf. Peering past him, my wolf spotted Chance’s massive black wolf coming in hot, and I knew within a matter of seconds we would have this damn rogue cornered, with nowhere to go.
As my wolf took a step forward, the rogue mimicked us by taking a step back, that was until Chance’s wolf
