Chase’s POV
Every single molecule in my body was on edge by the time I finally had made it to the rogues’ camp, and when my eyes landed on the disruption that was at hand, I knew that I held the key to stop it all. But before I could do so, my wolf and I needed reinsurance that Raven was unharmed.
My eyes immediately did a quick scan of the camp, looking for any signs of Raven, and when they finally landed on her wolf, I noticed that she was completely surrounded by Jacob’s vermin. Seeing this, I let out a distinctive warning howl, that I knew would turn all their heads in my direction, as I held my bargaining chip firmly beside me, so that Jacob’s ass and his men could see I meant business.
Just as I had thought, every single one of them turned to look in my direction, including Rave
