Raven’s POV
I had seen enough, and I wasn’t going to just sit on the sidelines and watch these rogues continuously attack my friends, with what looked like an endless supply of an army. They were clearly fighting for their lives, and I could see the wear it was starting to take on all of them as the minutes ticked by and more reinforcements for the other side kept arriving with no relief in sight for us.
The problem was I wasn’t like them, even though Mrs. Ryder said that I was, and if I was going to stand a chance at fighting them, then I needed to use what training and skills I did have. I now knew exactly why my mother had insisted on my training, as I am now sure that she feared the day that these rogue wolves would come for me like they had come for her.
