Goddess, the tension I was feeling being this close to her and knowing that she didn’t get on the first plane back to California after finding out what we truly were, was demolishing what self-preservation I had left in me. Just knowing that she wasn’t all freaked out and wasn’t looking at me like I was a monster with two heads, made me realize that even though she wasn’t raised in our world, it didn’t mean she didn’t belong in it.
