Chance’s POV
The business meeting I was supposed to have in Freedom Port with Alpha Zane, I unfortunately ended up having to cancel, as there was no way in hell that I was going to be able to concentrate long enough to make crucial decisions for the pack. With not knowing where Raven was, my head was a jumbo mess, and I couldn’t believe that I was foolish to let some dumb ass witch take off with Raven.
However, I wanted to believe that even though Lexi was being paid for a service, which I honestly had no clue exactly what that service was, that she actually had Raven’s best interest at heart. Honestly, I just wish right now I knew who was behind hiring Lexi, because that would make it so much easier to track her down, plus, know exactly what her true intentions were.
