Raven’s POV I found myself restless the rest of the day, as I sat around waiting for Mazie to wake up, praying that she would be okay, but also that she would open her eyes before the clock struck midnight. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and when the moon hung at its highest an inevitable fear rushed through me, thinking that something crazy was going to happen. Honestly, I had myself so worked up, thinking of the worst possible scenarios that I had let my imagination take over, leading me to believe that I might even die. But as I looked up at the moon, shining its heavenly beams down on me, I honestly didn’t feel a damn thing, making me realize that I had worried all day for nothing. If anything, I sort of felt comfort in the light of the moon, as if it was trying to soothe away
