Butcher's POV
Red finished her breakfast before I took the tray.
“Want anything else?”
“Maybe another glass of juice.”
I grabbed her glass.
“Got it.”
She caught my wrist.
“Butcher?”
“Yeah?”
“Go talk to Sword. I'm perfectly capable of sitting here until you come back.”
I studied her.
“You need anything, you call.”
“I know.”
“And don't get up alone.”
She smiled.
“Babe, I'm wearing your shirt, sitting in your bed, and enjoying the fact that nobody expects me to do laundry. I'm not going anywhere.”
I leaned closer.
“Our bed, Red. Not just mine anymore.”
Her smile softened.

“Damn right.”
She looked around the bedroom before meeting my eyes again.
