“How come we're just finding out about her and the baby?”
I recognized Valerie's voice as Violet and I approached the room.
“Just heard something through the grapevine about two weeks ago. Didn't confirm it until today,” Butcher answered.
Violet stopped beside me, looking directly at Butcher.
“You got Natalie pregnant?”
Butcher nodded.
Violet burst out laughing.
“Oh, baby! Looks like you can dish out some smack to your brother for all the crap he talked while I was pregnant!”
Before anyone could respond, the front door opened, and a woman a couple of inches taller than me walked inside.
Judging by her appearance, she was another member of this ridiculously tall family.
“What's going on?” she asked.
“Brother here got this woman pregnant,” Doom answered.
