Looking at Kaelan, who suddenly appeared, my eyes flashed with surprise. Before I could say anything, a figure quickly flashed before me.
Lilith Moreau, who had been arrogant moments before, instantly put on a sweet smile. Her eyes sparkled as she called out, "Alpha King Kaelan!"
She began to chatter immediately. "What have you been busy with? Why haven't you replied to my messages? Can I treat you to dinner when you're free?"
Kaelan merely gave her a cold glance and walked straight to me. He saw the water stains on my fair face and my wet hair, still dripping with herbal tea.
