Gina The merchandising assessment packet sat on the corner of my desk all afternoon. Every time I glanced at it, my heart skipped a beat. For over a year I’d dreamed about this moment. I’d watched people get promoted while I stayed at the switchboard, answering phones and telling myself that one day someone would notice I was capable of more. Now they had.
