My release was so quick and desperate that I still had fifteen minutes before the spa team arrived. The first thing I did was text Colby.
Me: I’m ditching you today to take advantage of a gifted spa day instead. Will you forgive me if I invite you as my date to the Alpha’s Ball tonight?
I hopped in the shower next to actually freshen up. Knowing Dominic, the spa team on their way was probably made up of werewolves who would be able to smell the arousal on me if I didn’t wash it off.
When I got out of the shower, I had a new text message.
Colby: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
I chuckled at his reaction as I wrapped a towel around me. Someone knocked on my door, so I went over to answer it as I replied to Colby.
Me: Yes. Be here at 6, ya dweeb. And dress up. No swim trunks tonight.
