“Matthew Nathaniel Anderson!” my mom screamed my name. “How can you be so heartless?” she asked, but I ignored her. “Fine, I will send the driver to go and pick up Annabel from the roadside where you left her,” my mom said. She brought out her phone to call the driver, but I quickly snatched it from her. “Mom, nobody is going to bring Annabel home,” I said in a very stern voice. “She will walk home by herself, and that is final. If the driver or any of the staff goes out to catch her, that person will be fired immediately,” I warned my mom. My father nodded. “Yes, let her walk home. She deserves it.
