It took a while to calm Xavier down; he wanted to go find those who did this and ring their necks. I don't blame him. I felt the same, but we need not just the shooter, but the person behind all of this.
"Cora has so much guts to cover Ruby like that. You know she took a bullet for me; that's how we met." Xavier commented as he paced the floor, worried about Cora. I paced too, worried for both ladies. I don't want either out of the house ever again.
