Cora POV My phone alarm went off, and I was out of bed faster than a man with diarrhea and the toilet was too far away. I turned off the alarm and headed for a quick shower, and I mean a quick shower, ten drops on me, and I was out, and getting dressed in my uniform. It wasn't a hospital-supplied one; it was a uniform I purchased and liked to wear. It was comfortable, right down to my sensible shoes. It had small animals all over it, not the standard white, green or blue. The kids love it, and when they are in distress during an emergency, I do all I can to help them settle and build trust.
