Scones had been miffed all morning over the mess we had to clean up; however, when Oddball agreed that she had every right to be angry and sent the ladies away, you could see the change in her. Scones rarely made a fuss; she was the go-to lady and quietly fixed things, keeping the peace. But now, since meeting Dad, she had begun to change, no longer putting up with other ladies' crap.
Good for Scones, and getting the president's approval made it all the sweeter for her.
Dad looked pleased at Oddball's support.
