Gunner POV Oddball and Strike were at the breakfast table. "The new Guards seem nice," Strike said casually, as she picked at her food. They met them last night briefly, before going to the clubhouse. Oddball had tried to get me to come too, but understood when I requested to stay and get to know the new guards. The clubhouse meeting was the final check and instructions for our members going in to hunt the shooters. Demetri's men had left hours ago and would be almost there, whereas ours won't be leaving until early morning and will arrive just hours before the van. It was agreed that our members stay in public view, having a meal and chatting, fuel up bikes, that sort of thing, the average traveller would do.
